As the huge nerd that I am. I really had to try to make galaxy nails after I saw them. It still took me a while but last weak I painted my nails black and went for it. This is my result of my take on the galaxy nails. I had so many complements everybody loved it!! :D

The Hunger Games

Ok to start from the beginning (cause this is going to be one of my longest blog post ever ! I'm starting with te condition of my nails. You are looking at my right hand right now. which looks quite ok. But I had to keep my nails short because of the cold weather. I've got three !! Three tears in my left hand nails *cry* But on the bright sight. There is almost no yellow staining left!! I'm for sure that my nails will look great if I would use nail whitener now :P

and now on to the Title. The Hunger Games. I spotted this name earlier this year.  (long usless story)I've used a picture of a guy I wanted to use for a character. This guy was Chris Hemsworth. I started internet stalking the guy. Ended up watching Thor and discovered he had a younger sibling which is just as handsome! Liam hemsworth. (they also have the same laugh XD) So I watched last song. And started stalking Liam which apparently was going to play the role of Gale in the hunger games. (still didn't know what the hungergames were) a weak past and a friend of mine posted the hungergames trailer on Facebook. And I was f*cking sold. What an awesome trailer !! they told me the books where just as awesome so I decided I needed to read at least the first book befor 23st of march when the movie premier will be.  I needed less than 7 day's to finish the first book. Same for the second and I'm still buzzy with the third. (started monday) I never have red a series this fast !! I'm a huge FAN XD

Cinna's Eyeliner. (Catrice liquid eye liner) 030 I am golden Sandy

Oké so I've got some make-up inspiration from it. As first you can see my nails. They are inspired by  Katniss her interview dress/ look. There was described her teams painted flames on her nails and her dress was set with colourful crystals finishing with blue. So my nails were set on fire. (as seen on the first picture) And I have finished it with a blueish glitter (Magic Star - Gosh) and on to the next inspiration. Cinna. You have to love Cinna. He is caring a perfect listener and just plain brilliant. (and I think he's gay and I love gay men although it is never confirmed in the books)  He is an artist and I love artists and I love the casting of Lenny Kravitz to play him Although I was sure he was fair skinned :P So when I found a golden Eye-Liner in the sale box I had to buy it!! and do the Cinna look (just a plain golden eye-liner on the upper lid.) It's a quite nude style for my taste. (that is also the reason Cinna stout out as a capitol resident. Cause he wears plane/almost no make-up ) But somehow I do love it to. But I decided to try to make it a little bit more feminine. And first added a black line with my gel eyeliner (Catrice) and finished it whit a golden line (liquid eyeliner catrice)  As you can see below. I still need to practice on straight lines haha

as finishing touch a full face picture of me with my golden cinna look and added some golden lip gloss too ! 

But I'm not the only person which is a hunger games fan. And China Glaze comes with a special Hunger Games Colours of the Capitol series. They used to have different names. (all really book inspired) but they changed it into the districts.

I want to buy at least two of the capitol colours. District 1 Luxa and lush (in the original name this one was inspired by Katniss' interview dress.)
And District 9 Harvest moon. (originally inspired by CINNA :D)
But I do love :
District 3 Riveting and District 2 Stone Cold too. So Maybe I will order all four.

New york - Catrice

Not really much to tell. I finally got my acceptance to go on my intern ship !! Happy
So I threaded myself at the Kruidvat sale! 2 bottles of Catrice for 1 euro each, and 2 Gosh bottles for 2,50 each :D
The Catrice were both from the Big City live series

Londen and New York . Still would love to get my hands on a bottle of Berlin. But those didn't make the sale o well can't have everything, right?

So now I'm wearing New York

A lovely old blue (my mom looked at my nails that is an old blue, my answer : Indeed)
I love the colour. It's funny cause when I started this blog I didn't like blue on my nails. And now I don't stop buying blue's XD
Anyway. Great polish, great aplication, and it is a one coater !! Go Catrice !! I'm in love!

Glitter funky french and new stuff

My mani of past weak. Wow, really didn't had the time to make a picture (and a blog post) till now. Bizzy bizzy bizzy.

 as you can see, I used the two polishes I got for christmas. Catrice - Wear your sunglasses at night, and Opi - Divine swine as tips.
I love the divine swine colour. I'm so incredibly happy with that polish !! The Wear your sunglasses at night is a bit of a mwa. I like the colour and the glitter inside. But you really have to look to see the magic. So I've definitely got a love hate relation ship with that one. I know how great the polish looks. But others probably wont notice.

And now the new stuff I bought since half december :P (little stack update) Two image plates. The one with the hello kitty is from born pretty, that was a free sample (A) And the tips plate from essence, cause I kind of love those :P

I'm really happy with all off these polishes XD The h&m polishes are so cute. And for the gosh catrice and esssence. Still needed a colour like that in my stash :P The Manhattan was love on first site, and well I just love crakles and purple !

christmas shopping :D

Catrice- Lovely Sinner, without topcoat

 nope this isn't what I bought during Christmas shopping :P it is a new polish tough Catrice - Lovely Sinner  from their welcome to las vegas line. OMG I love this one so much. I've seen some negatives about this polish and some positives. I'm positive. It's a lovely slightly pinkish red with a small glitter in it. Compaired to what I'm used of catrice it needs some layers (3 normally I use 2)
Oke it turnes out a bit uneven, but nothing a top coat can't fix right? A great Christmas colour and I'm in love !!

And now to make it even more Christmas :P I added a nice golden crackle, the Herome Crackle gold Geneva.
I love how it lookes. The soft gold of Gold Geneva and the strong sparkling red of Lovely Sinner. 
Germany I'm good to go :D christmas shopping :D Time for starbucks, marrons (chestnuts) and gluwwine. 

New blog layout and Herome golden crackle

Heyyy !!

Maybe you noticed but I've been playing with my layout for a while. I wanted it to look a bit more professional. And I didn't really like the way blogger composition. Luckely I have some HTML experience, and blogger allows you to play around with the Html /Css codes. So I made a new header and rearranged everything a bit. And used the regular blogger design to redo the colours and the fonts. Let me know what you think!! Better or worse ??

Herome Crackle gold Geneva

And now my current mani. Remember my last ?? with the stars. Well a little note on that one. Cover it with at least 2 but even better 3 topcoats !! The stars were quite sharp and tented catch everywhere.
So I pulled them off, and to cover up the ugly holes it left I grabbed my gold crackle from herome.
In comparison to the herome Blue Malibu. Their light blue crackle this one really dries matte. While Blue malibu dries really sparkly and shiney. C. gold geneva is a little low on the shine and less on the sparkle. It's still a really nice light gold tough. 
I added really thin layers cause I didn't really had a lot of time. Picture is with one topcoat. 

Catrice Purplelized ! and stars !!

I got this polish for my birthday from one of my very best friend <3 Anyway, She just knows I love purple, so She got me this beauty! I have to be honest, I looks a bit less purple in real live.
 First picture is with flash, second is just daylight.
I love the colour, I mattefied is one time so(forgot to take pictures long story sorry >.<) and it's awesome that way to! It's a dark purple with a sparkle trough the whole polish. If you look at the polish in the sun of a bright light red and blue glitter will be visible reaaaaallly pretty !! :D



And Yesterday I was in this budget store.. 1 euro shop or something. And they had this cute nail decoration bottles !! I just couldn't leave them XD (there were some nail stickers and stuff but I only bought the bottles.)
They were 2, euro 50.

 They are soo cute! Not all that glittery :P as you can see the stars and the hexagonal shaped do sparkle really well.
There are little pearls, hearths, stars, flowers, small glitters, and really big glitters.
I tried to use, Herome Salamanca for a konad, it didn't really got well. Pitty !! Maybe if I mix and match or I should just buy a golden konad XD (need a job first.) (ok you barely see it on the picture) Don't know why the bubbles came up.. I guess my top coat is old.

You have to put the decoration on your nails with some nail glue. I'm not really a talent XD but oh wel my right hand went better than my left :P (above left beneath right)

It's Miss Piggy from Catrice as base a layer of Matte topcoat from Hema, Konad with Hema Red and Konad white. Tips with miss sporty. (to lasy to check the color sorry.)

I'm trying to start to post how I do my nails every week. Well when I do something showing off course.
I'll start with everything from the last weaks XD when I started making picture's cause I noticed my twitter folowers actually liked seeing it.

Well at first, I was searching like crazy I wasn't into the nail blogs yet and I got air about the crackle polish,
First O saw was by Barry M but I'm not that used to ordering online so I left it. But than I noticed Essence was going to sell it in the Netherlands, So next time I got to the kruidvat I went to search. But off course there was none! There was a place for it and a brochure, but no bottle's. Quite quick I got to know there was a deliver problem. Well that sucks ! But when I was at my boyfriends place I got a call from my mom. They were shopping in Germany and they had the crackle in store !! So she bought me the silver base and the black coat !!

I'm so in love how it looked I actually carried it around for two weaks straight (redoing it once of course :P)

Than there was that free coupon in a magazine of my mom, for a bottle of nail polish (herome WIC), I claimed the coupon right away and set of to the store.  But no herome. And I went to an other store, no herome. Guess what Herome made a mistake, and didn't delivered it!! Serious Kruidvat (the store) hates me.
Well I got to know when they were supposed to come, and got to hear the date of the coupon was set later.
Anyway, eventually I went to the store and there they were !! Even more choice than I guessed there would be. Happy me !! So I chose this metalic purple polish, and just had to finish it with some dark tips. My nails looked lovely !! (please don't pay attention to the length difference. My nails were totally destroyed by my yob.)

Well this one is quite simple, I bought the iron mermaid by catrice quite a while ago, just because the color in the bottle made me really curious. It doesn't really cover well quick, so here I first added a layer of black and then one layer of Iron mermaid. I love how it looks. It's mostly a metallic like purple, but in other like it's a seaweed green. Really nice !! And as a finishing touch I added a layer of holo glitter I bought at the Douglas, just 1 euro. And I still had a giftcard so :D

But when I had the black crackle I wanted more of course haha. Well finally the dutch stores got them, and they were sold out in one day !! And no new bottles I almost when every week but noting new. Till I went to a different store in the town north of my city. (instead of in the city and the city were my boyfriend lives) And there they got a new stack! So I bought it. Well I added a purple with glitter as base. (It's from hema, but really bad coverage.) And two quick thin layers of white crackle. I tried to put a little of silver base on my index finger, to check the result. I do think it does crackle a little nicer, although I do also have a nice crackle like that on my right hand and that was without a little base.
